I am a native Californian and have lived in north San Diego county since 1984.
Ironically, my interest in Real estate developed while I was managing a successful Residential design firm; as more and more of my design clients called on me to preview properties and identify those with the best potential for their needs, I added another level of service and became a Realtor® in 1997. It is now my exclusive focus.
While the design and Real estate industries may initially seem quite different, the basic requirements for satisfying Clients are the same;
• Good Listening and Communication Skills: Really get to know the Clients to determine their genuine needs and wants. Then balance these with creativity.
• Knowledge and Experience: Knowing the market and available inventory keeps the process moving forward and enjoyable.
• Creative Problem Solving: My ability to handle problems reduces Client’s stress, and ensures they are happy with the results and the process.
• Negotiation skills: No one wins when deals fall apart, so keeping the Client’s interests in mind and maintaining a “Win-Win” approach is crucial.
Over the years, the vast majority of my Clients have become close friends. And I am happy to say, I have never lost a friendship over a real estate transaction.
