I am a full-time, professional real estate sales agent dedicated to serving exceptional clients. I have worked with all kinds of buyers and sellers since 1986, with a focus primarily on Coastal North San Diego County real estate since 2004. While many sales agents hope to do business "by referral only," my business is almost exclusively referred to me by real estate and mortgage colleagues. My community is important to me. I have participated on the Local Coordinating Committee of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors, and I am a former trustee of the Oceanside Pacific Kiwanis Foundation, as well as a past director of the Oceanside Pacific Kiwanis and Liaison Advisor for the 150-member El Camino High School Key Club.
I'm a "car guy" and an Audi and Volkswagen fanatic. I've had the great fortune to travel to some wonderful places and have found BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA and PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY to be among my favorites. Admittedly, it's hard for any place to compete with the SAN DIEGO region. If you need a restaurant recommendation, ask me!
Before real estate I was a working sociologist with both research and teaching appointments at local universities. On occasion I am asked to teach courses at local universities and invited to give guest lectures. I'm constantly fascinated by humanity's diversity and have a great respect and reverence for my fellow man. The sociologist in me keeps me reading and involved in all sorts of community-based and action-oriented endeavors.

Education:
My professional real estate experience is informed by my education and other areas of interest. I have a BA in SOCIOLOGY and an MA in SOCIOLOGICAL PRACTICE (MASP). I've held apponitments as associate faculty in sociology at California State University San Marcos, Palomar College, and at Vincennes University including off site courses at Bob Wilson Naval Medical Center San Diego, Naval Air Station North Island, Naval Amphibious Base San Diego, and Naval Base San Diego. My most rewarding teaching experience have been with war-wounded and recovering military personnel at NMCSD. Classroom teaching and research has translated nicely into the real estate business. I've been told that I patiently listen to client needs and keenly negotiate contacts.
