There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a San Diego real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
How it all began...
Deanna’s love of Real Estate comes from growing up in a family of Real Estate. She spent much of her childhood tagging along with her Real Estate Broker Mom looking at homes, watching deals transpire at the breakfast counter at Mayfair Market. In those days, contracts were written on paper napkins and confirmed with a handshake. She spent many of her childhood days at the office with mom and entertained herself by thumbing thru the MLS BOOKS and comparing each week’s listings with the listings from the previous week. As Deanna entered her teen years, she worked part time for her father in his appraisal business. Deanna really had no idea at that time that she was going to get into real estate. It wasn’t until she was well into her adult life that she finally took a Real Estate class at Mira Costa College and it was then her journey began.
Deanna started her Real Estate Career at Century 21 Award in Del Mar in 2002. It was during her 1st 6 months there that she was awarded with Rookie of the Year Award. It was soon after that when she found out that God had unexpectedly blessed her with her 3rd child. Because of this, she decided to move her office closer to home so she began working at a local Cardiff Real Estate office – Pacific Coast Homes. She spent about a year there before she was invited to join the Steele Realty team in 2004. After about 6 years working with the small company she finally decided that it would better serve her clients if she was with a large company. She joined Sea Coast Exclusive Properties in 2010. The award winning brokerage is generous with it's advertising and encourages high ethics, risk management and quality customer service. Although Sea Coast is considered a boutique office, they have the professionalism and experience of a large company and they treat each agent and their clients with respect and individuality.
Today, Deanna's real estate business specializes in North County San Diego, yet she is very familiar with most of the areas in the county. Some of her sales include the communities of Chula Vista, Ramona, Lemon Grove, El Cajon, Clairemont as well as many North County communities such as Cardiff, Encinitas, Leucadia, Solana Beach, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Escondido & Vista. She is familiar with today’s real estate and is knowledgeable in Short Sales and REOs. Her experience, education and understanding of today’s market, has helped her negotiate deals in this tough economy.
